Dear Parent/Guardian,

This letter is intended to inform you of SPAD’s decision for school temporary closure for the Week of February 24-February 28, that may affect you and your student(s).

During the past several weeks there has been increase attention on the Coronavirus situation. SPAD believes this is in the school’s best interest to close and have all students at home and take necessary safety measures. I do appreciate all the concerns and hope this letter provides adequate information for this upcoming week. Below you will find helpful information concerning your students for this week. 

School closure will be announced beginning Monday, February 24, after 1:00 p.m. 

All students will be advised to directly go home after the dismissal of school.

Student’s and online instruction.

All students will be provided with online instruction for the week of closure. The classes online will be facilitated and delegated by their original school teacher and all assignments and assessments will still be adhering to SPAD academic policies. The online platform that SPAD will be using is Google Classroom. In case a student does not understand the following online instruction please contact the SPAD faculty contact information for questions and concerns. Because online instruction differs from traditional course it is important that parents & guardians help support students to manage their time carefully. Additional online devices maybe needed, therefore it is important to keep up to date with news that the teacher provides in the Google Classroom system.

I am providing you with this notice so you can be aware of the necessary steps that are being made at SPAD. Please contact SPAD with any questions and concerns you may have regarding this situation by phone or email anytime. SPAD will use all communication resources possible to communicate with you the school is closed beyond February 28^th.  Please watch for future letters, emails, texts or other communications from the SPAD.
